About You Pray, Jesus Answers
After coming to the Lord in May, 2002 I started my own Christian prayer request site at YouPray.JesusAnswers.com, which I have maintained ever since. This site was created with a community in mind, encouraging every visitor to join in and pray for the needs of those who posted their requests. I believe that prayer is a gift, that in praying for others we are sowing seeds and that every prayer we make on behalf of another comes back to us as well, in it's own unique time and it's own unique way. I believe that it is especially important for those of us who have our own prayer needs to take the time to pray for the needs of others. I believe that this helps us take our focus off of our own selves and our own situation to reconnect with God and our community and our brothers and sisters in Christ. It helps us know that we are not alone and it strengthens us and encourages us to know that others are praying for us even as we are praying for them.

| Almost a year and one half a go my husband became disabled, we have been struggling for over a year now to try and keep our home. We have lived ther 25 years, the first home we had burnt and we built another one. Its not very big because our kids are all grown and out on their own.
